Caparo Power Limited (CPL), a Joint Venture between Caparo and Finnish Energy Major, Wärtsilä pioneered the model of group captive power generation in the country.
CPL provides a world class experience to consumers through our products and services. We supply uninterrupted and high quality power via our own HT network of underground cables with lifetime free maintenance and support in the distribution network.

Our Facility
Located in the Industrial Hub of Bawal in Haryana, our state of the art power generation and transmission facility with four superior Wärtsilä gas engines churn out quality and uninterrupted power to our valuable customers.
We operate a round the clock control room for monitoring generation and distribution, with daily patrolling on the entire transmission route and planned maintenance activities every year synchronized with customer shutdowns.

Generation
Caparo Power has gas fired generation capacity of 35.73 MW with a plant that generates uninterrupted and quality power supply with more than 99.67% uptime to customers.
Transmission
Caparo Power has set up an underground transmission line network of around 125 Kms on 11KV / 33kV to supply power. We operate two substations of 11KV / 33kV, 12.5 MVA each in our own premises.
